The energy consumption at construction sites is characterized by a very spiky pattern: every crane movement causes a short peak in power demand. The average energy consumption however is far lower and represents an ideal situation where the power demand is constant at all times. Most grid connections that are available at construction sites are able to supply this average or ideal situation, but are not powerful enough to deliver the high peaks.

Our batteries function as a buffer between grid and consumption, delivering the peaks when demanded and recharging at the available grid connection. They flatten out the peaks, turning the red demand pattern into the white ideal situation, making it possible for construction sites to use the conventional grid for their power supply.
